Day 1
August 21, 2009, the scheduled trip to Cebu. From the office we headed at the airport for our evening flight. I was so excited for the trips because, one this was my first time to go for an out of town trip riding on a plane, Zest Air for the Airline with a free Zest-O, and for the second reason this was also my first time to go to Cebu and Bohol. We just got our ticket for only P488 one way, it was just a promo so all in we’ve got the airfare for less than a thousand with tax.
Manila Airport
We had 7:30 evening flight but our other friends got at Cebu on the morning, while we were at the airport here in Manila of course we took a lot of photos because most of us are first timers. It was a smooth ride at the plane. We took off in Cebu at about 9:18 pm, and then we headed to YMCA where we stayed. We eat dinner at the near carinderia and then planned our itinerary for the next day. There we’re changes made from our original itinerary because the ticket for Oceanjet that our other friends got changes the date from the original, so we got to pursue it.

Day 2
after breakfast at YMCA
On the morning of the 22nd of August, we are ready to start our journey at around 6:30 am, first stop is the Sto. Niño Church for us to be blessed, we took the long line just to see and pray to Sto. Niño.
Sto. Niño Church
We also went to Magelan’s cross near the church and took some photos of the place.
Magelan's Cross
We walked going to the Oceanjet station for our trip to Bohol. At around 9:30 am the Oceanjet is about to depart the port. We are at the jet for almost 2 hours just to go to Tagbilaran, I think it was a tiring trip; my friends slept may be me too.
At last we saw land, we headed asap to Tarsier Sanctuary, then we headed to Loboc River for our lunch cruise, it was a buffet lunch for only P280. We’ve waited too long for that lunch because there are a lot of people wanted to experience that kind of cruise. On our original itinerary we are supposed to be at Loboc before 12nn for us to be able to go to other place us supposed to go. We able to eat lunch at about 2:30 in the afternoon and the cruise lasted for about an hour and half. In short we aren’t able to go to the other places (Chocolate Hills - Original View Site & Sagbayan View Site, Bilar Man-made forest, Baclayon Church, Blood Compact and Hinagdanan Cave) stated in our itinerary due to some delays so instead, we just went straight to Chocolate Hills just the original view and then we headed back in a hurry for Oceanjet ride going back to Cebu, and unfortunately we missed the jet. We really missed a lot that day.

What are we supposed to do when we missed the Oceanjet? Well, our brilliant idea… we took a ride to a cargo ship named Negros Navigation, we paid P150 for the trip from Bohol to Cebu. The ship depart supposed to be at around 7:00pm but since it is a cargo ship we’ve waited for about 2 hours until the ship depart It was our first time to ride in a ship like that, it was a culture shocked with this one since we only paid for the lowest fare in the ship we had to be at the deck of the ship. Just imagine we just had the double deck bed for each one of us and there are a lot of people riding that ship. No air-con, no electric fan and it was very hot place as in warm. Some people don’t have t-shirts on, of course only the boys can do that. We eat our dinner that we bought at the carendiria near the Bohol pier. After that since we are all tired and pissed with what happened to us some of us took a nap in that double deck bed, and some decided to look for our things. When I woke up I told my bf to escort me at the comfort room, after that I saw stairs going up, I told my bf Alvin if he want to see what was up there so we went on. We were surprised that at the top there is a cafeteria with a live band performing, we also took a walk around the ship to see other places it offers then we went back to our place. We asked our friends if they want to join us to see the band at the cafeteria and have some food and drinks, then we decided that we are all going there. We listened to the band and had some food and drinks for a while just to chill a bit. After 3 hours of the cruise we now arrived at Cebu pier, before the ship docked we saw dancing people at the ground of the pier and we really enjoyed what they offered. The pier people are very good dancers and the people in the ship are very entertained. 12 midnight we went down at the pier and headed back to YMCA. After a long long and tiring day we had our sleep for the next adventure. Ooops! Before I forget Cory didn’t sleep that night because Kuya Marc told us that if there’s someone who will be late for the next morning for our next activity we will not wait for him/her anymore!
Day 3
We had 5:30am call time for August 23, 2009 for our Cebu Island hopping. I alarmed at 4:30am so that I could have enough time to fix my things and packed for our activity. At 6:00am we had our free breakfast, 6:30am we depart going to Mactan. We rented a white Nissan van for P3000 our activity, our driver named Jackson. While on the road Jackson had to stopover at a Lechon house for us to buy our lunch and some snacks for our island hopping, we had our budget for food for P200 each. Lechon Cebu is very delicious and I love ti!
At around 8:00am we arrived at Boyla Diving center, here we rented a big boat and snorkeling gear for P2500. We had to go to 3 islands in Cebu, Hilutungan Island where we had to see beautiful white sand beach, next stop is Nalusuan Island where we had to eat our lunch, we took a lot of photos there, in this island you can see belle on her cellphone while in the water. We saw here the sun surrounded by rainbow, the third island is Pandonan Island where we had so much fun in this white sand beach we play around here and we even eat sponge cookies with salted water hahaha. We also saw tarsier like person when her foot crams, I will not mention her name but we were really entertained by her.
At around 2:30pm we were picked up by Jackson from Boyla to Mactan. We went to Lapu-lapu Monument – Mactan Shrine, Taoist Temple and bought some pasalubong. At around 7:00pm we went back to YMCA to rest for a while.
At around 8:00pm we decided to look for Sutukil restaurant at Cebu but we found none. We eat dinner at Jollibee since it is raining. After we had our dinner we decided to walk around the City going back to near YMCA, we decided to play some billiards near YMCA and had some coffee while watching documentary on the TV, then we called it a day.
Day 4
For our last day at Cebu, some of our friends already departed early in the morning, but I, my boyfriend Alvin, my sister Grace and Julius are left. We had our departure flight at 7:00pm. Since we had a lot of time to spend, 6:00am we eat our breakfast at YMCA, at around 10:00am Alvin’s friend arrived at YMCA to meet us. We checked out at YMCA and went at the Ayala mall; we left our bagged at the bagged counter for us to move easily for our activity. First stop, we have to look for an eat all you can restaurant for lunch, yummy food in Family's Choice Eat All You Can Restaurant for P175 but worth it.
Family's Choice Restaurant
After the sumptuous lunch we went to the Lexmark office Cebu branch, nice couch to seat, also nice office but we haven’t had the chance to enter the building because of the security; Kuya Marc’s friend that time is not in the office.
After a short tour, we’ve watched Cobra movie at the Ayala mall which my DSLR got to be locked in security’s post, no camera allowed. After the movie we had to take our baggage and look for a cab to bring us at Mactan since we had more time to stroll the place. After an hour of cab ride we arrived at Mactan and bought lots and lots of pasalubong again since the pasalubong are in very very affordable prices. Before we headed at the airport we bought some burgers for our dinner. In the Airport at 5:00pm we checked in, our flight was delayed for 3 hours.
Cebu International Airport
We were back in Manila at 12:00 midnight. We had so much fun in our Cebu experience, so much history information and so much adventure. I will treasure the experience truly!
